Global BGP Anycast Routing

Optimize network performance with low-latency traffic steering by Junglelabs

BGP Anycast allows multiple global server nodes to announce the same IP address space, automatically routing end-users to the nearest optimal point of presence. As your trusted network infrastructure partner, Junglelabs manages and optimizes your worldwide Anycast deployment.

Key Benefits of Anycast with Junglelabs

  • Dramatically reduces network latency by connecting users to geographically closer Junglelabs PoPs
  • Inherent DDoS mitigation by dispersing localized attack traffic across global clusters
  • Automatic network failover with zero manual intervention if an edge node goes offline
  • Seamless scaling without modifying client-side DNS configurations or endpoint IPs
  • Full upstream carrier diversity across Tier-1 transit providers and major Internet Exchanges
  • Real-time BGP telemetry and latency monitoring with automated route optimization

Deploying Anycast is essential for modern high-availability applications, DNS providers, and CDNs. Junglelabs assists you through network architectural planning, IP prefix provisioning, and ongoing BGP route policy engineering.

RIPE Requirements for Independent Resources

To qualify for independent Internet number resources, you must meet the applicable RIPE NCC requirements:

  • Your organisation must be a legal entity eligible for services in the RIPE NCC service region
  • You must provide details of the external networks and AS numbers involved
  • You must demonstrate a valid need for an ASN, such as multihoming or a unique routing policy
  • A clear network and BGP routing plan must be provided
  • Valid organisation registration documents and authorised representative details
  • Current administrative, technical and abuse contact information

Requirements may vary according to the requested resource and the policies in force at the time of application. Final approval and assignment decisions are made by the RIPE NCC.

FAQ

Find answers to common questions about our RIPE NCC LIR services, ASN registrations, IP leasing, and BGP routing operations.

An Autonomous System Number (ASN) is a globally unique identifier assigned by Regional Internet Registries (such as RIPE NCC) to a collection of IP routing prefixes under a single administrative domain. You need an ASN to run Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), connect to multiple upstream internet providers (multi-homing), join Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), and ensure uninterrupted network redundancy.
You'll need company registration documents (e.g., Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration), network routing plans, upstream provider details (ASNs and contacts for multihoming verification), and administrative/technical contact information. Junglelabs will guide you through everything needed via our customer portal.
Upon completing identity verification and agreement confirmation, your Letter of Authorization (LOA), RPKI ROA signing, and IRR route object registrations are normally issued within 12 to 24 hours. You can then immediately forward the LOA to your data center or transit providers to broadcast routes globally.
A Sponsoring LIR is required by RIPE NCC for non-members to legally hold Provider Independent (PI) resources, ASNs, or IXP allocations. Managed LIR extends this by taking care of routine technical operations, including route/aut-num/inetnum registry maintenance, Reverse DNS (rDNS/PTR) delegations, geofeed adjustments, and compliance reporting.
Yes. All leased IP address space undergoes strict diagnostic screening across major real-time blacklists (Spamhaus, SURBL, Barracuda, UCEPROTECT) and routing databases. We guarantee clean prefixes with pristine historical reputations suitable for production routing, hosting, and enterprise applications.
Yes. As an official Recognized LIR, we provide turnkey bundle solutions including direct 2-byte/4-byte ASN sponsorship, a dedicated /48 IPv6 assignment, and initial BGP routing VM instances—enabling you to establish an autonomous presence on the global routing table in just a few straightforward steps.
We support automated card payments via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and direct international bank wire transfers (SWIFT / SEPA / Faster Payments). Services are available on flexible monthly, quarterly, or discounted annual commitment cycles.
